4 Eggs
1/3 cup Sugar
3 cups Half & Half
3 oz. Bourbon
1 oz. Coffee Liqueur
Fresh nutmeg

Perhaps there is no other beverage that says Christmas and New Year's like eggnog. This decadently rich beverage is a hallmark of the holiday season and is a guilty indulgence for so many. It is certainly not for everyday drinking!
The recipe we offer for eggnog is true to the classic with just a small twist. It is certainly not shy on calories or fat but as we said, it’s not for everyday consumption.
We also realize that not everyone will want to make the eggnog from scratch. Some fear the raw eggs, others would simply prefer to not witness the "sausage making", so to speak, and will opt for a store-bought version. For once, we won’t scold you for this choice. We do ask that you find a quality version, preferably from a local dairy.
If using store-bought eggnog, follow this ratio: One quart of eggnog/3 oz. Bourbon/1 oz. Coffee Liqueur. Add freshly ground nutmeg to taste.
