Wednesday is burger night at Jury’s and you should be there. This unassuming neighborhood pub serves up decent fare, but the burgers are phenomenal. National Geographic actually named these beefy treats as one of the 10 best in the world! Owner/manager Pete loves wine and keeps a most respectable collection of fairly priced wine. Best of all, he runs a discounted wine list on…get this, SATURDAY and Sunday nights. Reserve selections often appear on the list at near retail prices, tempting local wine geeks into a $80 bottle of Viader to compliment their $6 burger on more than one occasion. Keep an eye out for the famous “Port Night” in March where you can sample some highly respected ports from grand older vintages. CB
