Terra D’Oro Barbera Amador County 2007 (USA)

FEATURED

Deep, brilliant ruby red with purple accents. The nose is amazingly concentrated with ripe cherry and raspberry leading the way with hints of cola, oak, vanilla, and mineral. The palate is in full agreement with the nose offering a complex marriage of ripe, over-ripe, and tart berries with complimenting notes of brown spices, sweet oak, and soft tannins. Ideally balanced with enough acidity to add structure and vibrancy. Lovely.

Terra D’Oro Rosé Amador County 2008 (USA)

FEATURED

Bright, pink salmon color. The nose is bright and fresh with scents of raspberry, strawberry, and pomelo with accents of cranberry with hints of rhubarb and mineral. The palate confirms the nose with tart fruit notes showing themselves first as it becomes more generous and ripe toward the finish. Made for those who appreciate tart, as well as ripe. Ideally balanced and wonderfully refreshing and while the current temps loom well below the freezing mark, this wine puts us in the mood of spring. Perfect with fish or fowl.

Tarrica Sauvignon Blanc Paso Robles 2009 (USA)

Bright pale straw color. The nose is ultra fresh and crisp with generous waves of sweet herbs, grapefruit, and green apple with hints of mineral and ginger. The palate is in full agreement with the nose offering a vibrant blast of ripe orchard fruits with zesty citrus accents. A fresh and compelling wine with charm and style.

Temecula Hills “Compilations” Sonoma Coast 2006 (USA)

Deep ruby color. The nose is very herbal in the most pleasant way offering scents of lavender, thyme, and sandalwood with accents of earth and dried cherries. The palate is in full agreement with the nose offering dense cherry core with flanking herbal and earth notes. Very stylish.

Tenuta di Arceno “PrimaVoce” IGT, Toscana 2004 (Italy)

Bright, garnet red color. The nose is generous while austere offering dried fruit and spice notes with a healthy dose of pepper, wild herbs, and wood. The palate confirms the nose being rustic in nature while complex with earth and spice notes.

Terra Andina Carmenere Valle Central 2007 (Chile)

Deep, dark cherry red color. The nose is bold and generous offering scents of black cherry, currants, and huckleberry with accents of eucalyptus and pepper. The palate echoes the nose while being ideally balanced with fresh acidity and soft tannins. A very charming wine and an undisputed ‘Best Buy.’

Terra Andina Carmenere “Reserva” Rapel Valley 2006 (Chile)

Deep, dark garnet red color. The nose is amazingly dense and complex with aromas of ripe blackberry and currants with dried berry fruit as well complimenting notes of clove, allspice, and cigar box. The palate is wonderfully lush while ideally balanced. This wine exhibits the style and structure of wines twice its price and beyond. A ‘Best Buy.’

Terra Andina Chardonnay “Reserva” Valle de Limari 2007 (Chile)

Brilliant pale straw color. The nose is filed with fresh scents of crisp apples and pears with a touch of tropical fruit and ripe grapefruit. The palate reveals a Chardonnay with true flavors and balance with just enough oak to add interest while never subtracting from its core. It’s clear that Terra Andina is poised to be a significant player in the value wine market. A Best Buy.

Terra D’Oro Moscato California 2008 (USA)

Pale straw color. The nose is nose incredibly fresh and generous with sweet spring flowers, ripe melons, pear, peach, tangerine, and pineapple. The palate perfectly echoes the nose offering lush, ripe fruit with hints of citrus and a dose of acid that keeps it clean. Wonderful with just a glass or superb with Thai cuisine. A real charmer.

Terra D’Oro Moscato California 2009 (USA)

Pale straw color. The nose is wildly expressive with scents of sweet flowers, rose water, mango, tangerine, pineapple, ripe papaya, and accents of candied ginger. The palate agrees with the nose offering a ripe, lush core of juicy fruit that explodes with tropical vibrancy with enough crisp acidity to add structure and interest. A super choice for fresh fruit desserts, custards, or sorbet. Serve well chilled.
